Trigenics: A Three-strain, Holistic Treatment Approach

Neurological science is the study of one of the most complex organs in the human body, the brain. Research in this field has been moving forward in leaps and bounds over the past century, as our ability to investigate the forms, functions and frameworks of the human mind has grown exponentially.

As humanity develops a more complex understanding of this mysterious organ on which we all so heavily depend, in turn, we have been able to develop dynamic and holistic medical approaches to treat and prevent a variety of medical issues, related not only to the brain but the entire human body.

After 10 years of field research, Dr Allan Oolo Austin developed a treatment technique in the early 1990s, which occupied a specific combination of neuromuscular treatment techniques. This treatment demonstrated a significant therapeutic effect on patients who had been experiencing a range of long-term and painful conditions.

The osteopath and chiropractor dubbed this treatment method Trigenics, which refers to the three main components in which it is founded.

Trigenics is a unique multi-modal procedure using three major techniques, which are comprised of resistive exercise reflexes, muscle nerve sensor manipulation and concentrative parasympathetic breathing. These three therapies sum up to a holistic therapy that offers a rapid-response, lasting result in sufferers of many pain and injury based conditions.

Trigenics is practised by thousands of health-care specialists worldwide, including Mark Lin, respected podiatrist and owner of The Footwork Clinic in Sydney Australia.

“Through the integration of these techniques, we have seen astounding progress in the rehabilitation of our clients. The three separate techniques used in the Trigenic method complement each other seamlessly, assisting the body to overcome some genetic hurdles that can manifest from a variety of causes” explains Lin.

“When the body has an experience that causes pain, whether it be a direct injury, an overextension, or some other type of strain, the affected area sends a message to the brain, which sets off a series of impulses within the brain and throughout the body. This process exists to protect the body from any immediate danger, and furthermore to ensure that the pain-affected area is given the appropriate space to heal.”

“This is a useful and necessary feature of the human body. However, sometimes, the protective impulses remain, causing a continued experience of pain. In some cases, these impulses can continue prompting a pain experience, long after the original strain has healed. Effectively at this point, the pain, being a defence-mechanism, becomes redundant. But nevertheless disturbing to the affected person.”

This is where Trigenics is able to assist. “Trigenics treatments work by utilising desensitisation-relaxation techniques that affect both the neurological impulses and the arteries of the body. That is to say that this technique works with both the brain and the cardiovascular system, two of the most powerful systems within the human body at transmitting information and sustaining life.”

“By prompting neurological and cardiovascular relaxation responses, any obsolete messages or impulses that may remain from prior bodily strains can be treated directly, often providing patients with immediate and outstanding results.”

“I’m proud to be able to offer Trigenics in my clinic, as it gives us the ability to assist many people who have been suffering from often long-term, sometimes debilitating pain.”
